I love shorts and sweaters as we transition seasons and trying a few new trends for  Spring. Click to shop any photo and watch my Instagram try-on session @hkpfeff for details and sizing info!

Crazy for Camo

My love affair with camo began way back in 2000. I was 13 and the boys were white tee shirts with camo pants on dress down days. The print quickly made it's way into my closet and has never left. I love that it's currently a stylish option and let's be honest, I'll be THAT MOM embarrassing my kids when I roll up in a 10 year old sweatshirt that is sooooo 2019 and declare my unconditional love in front of their friends. I won't apologize. Payback kids. Payback.

Warm & Cozy

There are few things I love more than being warm and cozy. And it's the time of year when, here in the midwest(ish) we spend a lot more time inside than outside so we may as well embrace it. Hot coffee always tastes better from a cute mug and I live in leggings with comfy sweatshirts. Slippers cover my feet about 90% of the cold weather months so a cute print means it's fine if I forget to change before I leave the house. Right?! The softest scarf would look super cute with flannel pjs for holiday pictures...or just to bake cookies in. Not that I would do that or anything. And our family's most favorite sweater knit blanket that we love so much we have it in three colors had to be on the list. I linked up several other warm + cozy things I'm currently loving too!

Cold Weather Favorites

Its been chilly for several weeks in our neck of the woods so I've broken out all of our cold weather accessories. The kids needed a few new things and mama too! Pom hats never get old and I can barely handle Fallon in an infinity scarf. I'm grabbing my favorite cozy puffer vest in another color this year because they are just so perfect for a mom on the go. And I mean, you've got to have a little fun with your winter accessories so why not rock a light up unicorn hat or put antlers on your baby?! I've rounded up all of my favorites for
mama + minis and they won't disappoint.

Cozy Cardis

I can feel fall creeping in, FINALLY, and that means it's sweater weather! Cozy cardigans are staples in my wardrobe, perfect for the end of summer to fall transition. Cool morning layers peel off for warm afternoons and then go right back on for evenings outside. I've linked up my current faves that I'll be wearing on repeat and styled a zillion different ways. Cozy is the new black!

PJ Party

It's a pj party and you're invited! Hi my name is Hilary and I'm a pajamaholic. Really. It's a sickness. I  polled my Instagram followers on whether or not it was crazy to spend $50 on a super cute pj set and the majority vote was yes. Naturally I ordered them anyway. Sometimes ya just gotta treat yo' self. Okay normally I would not spend so much on myself, total splurge purchase for me. But I justify them along with the rest of my pajama collection with the fact that I spend so much time wearing them. I'm a SAHM with a wild toddler and a new baby so there are many days when pjs are my OOTD. Like today. And probably tomorrow. So having cute ones makes me feel better about rocking them all day. Alright, who am I kidding, I loved pjs long before I was a mom. But I'm going to keep blaming it on the children. Just let me have this one okay? Here are my tops picks if you want to join the party. All the cool kids are dong it.

Jogger Round Up

I've reached the point in this pregnancy where I just want to be as comfortable as possible. And luckily my job allows for that. If I'm not in actual pajamas I'm in clothes that are basically pajamas acceptable for wearing in public. The whole loungewear/athleisure trend is really freaking awesome. Stylish + comfy pjs for the win! When I get dressed I alternate between leggings or joggers. And I forsee this pattern continuing for the next several months. I love that they can be paired with anything from sweatshirts to long sleeved tees with vests/cardis to t-shirts and henleys or nursing tanks postpartum. So I thought I'd link up all my current favorite joggers and few things I love to wear with them.

Layered Looks

I like classic neutrals. And jewel tones. I like stripes. And plaid. I like camo, chenille and flannel. And the best part about a layered look is that I get wear several of them at the same time. Okay so there's also a practical point to be made for layering clothes. When it's still warm in the afternoon but chilly in the morning it's easy to take off the top layers without changing clothes. Even if it's the dead of winter wearing multiple layers keeps me warm but makes it easy to take off a jacket or vest before I start to break a sweat while running around with my kid. And then there's the whole pregnancy thing. Layering a scarf or vest over a t-shirt or sweater is weather appropriate and stylish but also bump friendly. Open front shirts, jackets and vest are also great for layering over nursing tanks for new mamas. I mean is there a downside?

Hat Hair Don't Care

It's no secret that I only wash my hair once a week. I get by without looking like a total greaseball (I think) with dry shampoo, topknots and hats. And lately there have been a lot of hats. They cover the dirty part or bedhead part of my hair and become part of an outfit that would otherwise most likely be pajamas. They look cute with a low messy bun, a ponytail or 3 day old curls. The best part? They're actually stylish. So today I'm sharing my favorites and how I've been wearing them with my momiform.

Classic black, goes with everything, always in style

Floral, adds a little something to plain jane outfits and pairs well with other patterns

Pink faux suede, a color pop yet neutral at the same time

Marled gray, perfect for all the athleisure or jeans + tee

Camo, quite possibly the most versatile pattern and my favorite

Little Floral Dress

You may have noticed my floral obsession as of late and I just can't seem to quit. There are some many gorgeous prints right now it's easy to get to sucked in to the trend. But I'm surprised by how versatile a floral dress can be. My exact dress is here but I linked some others I'm loving as well as similar wine colored booties (mine are last year). I love that a floral dress is easy breezy enough for these warm summer months but will transition so nicely into fall. It looks cute with lace up sandals or even a lightweight vest for summer days and there are endless options for booties, OTK boots or slip on sneaks in the fall. Throw on a utility or jean jacket when that chill is in the air and you're all set. I can totally see myself dressing this up with a leather jacket or down with a cardi + beanie.

Everyday Favorites

As a SAHM I no longer have to follow a dress code every day, but I've fallen into the habit of wearing a kind of uniform. Running errands, pushing the stroller through the park and chasing my wild child aren't actives that lend themselves to nice polished outfits. So most of the time you will find me in leggings with a tee and sneaks, a hat to cover my messy hair, sports bra underneath and earrings to make me think I look a teensy bit put together. And of course an iced coffee. I have the pieces that make up this momiform in varying colors and brands but after nearly a year on the jobI've found my go-to favorites. So today I thought I'd share them all with you.

My hat is under $10 and comes in lots of fun colors. These earrings are 2 years old but they're still a best seller and go with absolutely everything. The softest v-neck pocket tee that isn't too oversized yet not too fitted comes is several great colors and it's currently on sale! A sports bra that's supportive yet not restrictive and so easy to nurse in? Yea, I have it in several colors. Every mama needs a good pair of black leggings and these are hands down the best! And I couldn't be happier that sneakers are so stylish because these Nikes are incredibly comfortable + light weight and if I posted my outfit every day y'all would be SO sick of seeing them. Of course my momiform isn't ever really complete without some teething jewelry for Fally. Our favorite brand has the prettiest styles that you've probably noticed I wear all the time and you can save 15% off your purchase with my code HILARYPFEFF.

Spring is in the air and I don't know about you but it makes me want to freshen up my style a bit. I am all about the most versatile pieces as wardrobe staples right down to my accessories. So I was really excited to have a chance to work with JORD because their watches totally fit the bill.

First of all, I was already impressed by the packaging when I received my Dark Sandalwood and Slate watch. Of course that didn't stop me from immediately opening it up and trying on my new arm candy, that is even prettier than the box! It is such a beautiful and unique watch. I'm a true jeans + tee girl at heart and I think my favorite thing about this watch is that it fits my casual style but can also can easily be dressed up. Running around with a baby all day isn't glamorous but adding that perfect accessory at least makes me feel more put together. And on that rare evening out, my watch can transition to a dressier look right along with me.

Everything in nature is blooming and a wood watch has such a natural look and feel to it. If you're ready to freshen up your spring style too, JORD has a variety of beautiful women's watches to help you step up your game. You might even spy something perfect for a Mother's Day gift or want to check out the men's watches for the special guys in your life celebrating Father's Day this year.

And just for entering you will receive a $25 off coupon code to use toward your next purchase! Leggings To Live In

I don't know about you guys but I absolutely love that it's cool to wear leggings. I sleep in them, work out in them and wear them with a casual outfit (which is like 95% of the time). Every mama needs a good pair of black leggings but it's nice to switch it up sometimes. Lately I'm into fun details like moto leggings and side ties. I will always be a jeans + tee girl at heart but leggings are the easiest thing to run around in with a baby all day. So I thought I'd share some of the pairs I've been living in lately + a few I wouldn't mind adding to my collection.

I definitely do not shy away from white just because I have a baby. I was getting things all over my white clothes long before I became a mom and that's why God made stain remover. These are thick so they aren't see through and I love love love the moto look, it's a fun way to spice up a classic neutral.

Blush is everywhere right now and I have totally hopped on the bandwagon. Abercrombie & Fitch was oh so popular when I was in high school and I am pretty pumped to sport this brand again a decade later. Plus the stripe down the side on these is just cool. Right?!

Grey is my jam. Everything grey. I've already worn these leggings 4 times in less than 2 weeks and they are oh so comfortable. The ties on the side do not pinch your legs and look so cute! I had so many mamas asking me about them at the zoo this week.

Like I said, every girl needs a good pair of black leggings. These are just amazing. Period. They somehow make all the lumps you don't want to show off disappear and the ones you do look amazing.

I love GAP gFast capri leggings. There are always cute prints or details, they are almost always on sale and they're so breathable! I'm loving these cut outs and this print.

Happy Thursday friends!

Color Crush: Lilac

Spring is in the air and I'm working on a warmer weather wardrobe (say that 3 times fast!) for Fallon. This beautiful purple caught my eye last year and I'm even more drawn to it now. I've seen so many cute options for little ones and mamas in this shade so I thought I'd link some of my favorite items. Even my La Croix can is this color! Whether you're looking for an Easter outfit or just something pretty for Spring, lilac (or lavender or orchid or whatever else the stores are calling it) is perfect.

Mama + Mini: Crazy For Camo

If you take a peek inside my closet you will not see a lot of prints going on in there. I prefer to stick to my few favorites and leave the rest to accessorize with. Or just to provide a blank canvas for all the things my 6 month old will paint on me. Hashtag mom life. Naturally I dress my daughter in styles similar to my own and one of my all time favorite prints is camo. It's pretty hot right now and I am loving that I'm finding it everywhere for mama & mini! The best part is that it's completely gender neutral so I'm finally including the boy moms. Check out some of these we've been rocking or have our eyes on.

The Diaper Bag

When you're a first time mom you get all these baby things at your shower. Then you're supposed to figure out what to do with them all. And then once you sort of understand what's what, there's the part about choosing what to pack in the diaper bag. That is, after you've finally looked at so many your eyes are crossed and just picked one. I think this is one of the most stressful tasks as a new mama and one that is often forgotten about until it's time to take the baby out for the first time. Cue the chicken running around with the head cut off. At least that was me. I had it all perfectly packed for the hospital but for everyday use, well, I had to just wing it as we scrambled to get out the door for Fallon's first doctor's appointment. Maybe you have a better handle on this whole mom thing but just in case there's anyone out there like me, I thought I'd share what's currently in my diaper bag.

Your diaper bag is going to replace your purse and go everywhere with you. So you better really love your new BFF. I actually chose this Jujube B.F.F. bag because hello, stripes, but it's also entirely machine washable. Did I mention the stripes? Zero complaints. But a girl could use an extra just to switch things up, right? I received a Fawn Design bag for Christmas and I've been loving it. The Tote Savvy mini organizer fits right inside to give all our crap some semblance of order.

You're probably sick of me talking about my Solly baby wraps but I love them so and always have one with me as well as a lovey and my nursing cover

Fallon is teething like crazy, those bottom teeth will be here any day now, so we bring along Sophie (mold schmold) and a teething necklace if I'm not wearing one already. And we gotta have a spare pacifier in case little girlfriend manages to toss hers, clip and all, across the parking lot.

We've entered the world of finger foods so I keep puffs and/cheerios in my snack container but just in case we're running late for lunch I also have a puree pouch and a spoon.

Of course diapers and wipes are always stocked plus Boogie wipes, a Tide To Go pen and lip balm for mama. Sometimes I'll throw in a Clif or Think Thin bar, extra toys/teethers and a change of clothes for Fallon depending on where we're going and how long we'll be gone. Thank goodness both of my diaper bags have the option to be worn as a backpack because they can get heavy!

What's in your bag?
