Most of us across the US have been experiencing extremely low temperatures, and loving it I'm sure. Well my dogs do not love it. While they know they look quite stylish in their winter gear, they are not big fans of the freezing cold and whipping wind.
Ares is a Boston Terrier and has a brachycephalic face, basically is a smushy face like pugs and bulldogs. I am told this means he has a more difficult time regulating his body temperature. Coupled with his short hair, he cannot stay outside for too long when it gets below freezing without clothing. Chaos has baby fine APBT fur with no undercoat. And he's the biggest baby on the planet so under 40 degrees and he will not be going outside without a hoodie.
Do other people dress their dogs when it's cold?
